You can take a pick and remove the cover off the inner side of the bearings. Drill a hole in the side of the spindle body and install a zerk (grease fitting). Keep your old ones. Those bearings are replacable. Soak the “weathered” seasoned parts in vinegar to remove the rust.

Are you sure you are using the correct outlet? The old outlet has the black wire to gold screw…… this outlet had 4 silver screws only for attaching the wires. Just being sure. Maybe explain the difference to the do it yourself-ers.

Future tip for anyone reading- If possible (I think in this video it’s not the case), crack the lug nuts on the ground then lift some, or all, weight off of the wheels and remove all the lug nuts. While it’s likely this is just a seized bolt- having the weight of the vehicle on the tire when removing lug nuts one by one will leave the last one holding a lot of extra pressure. That will increase the risk of stripping or weird shit happening. Cheers

It is better to cut the exposed burned wire and make up the length by joining a piece of black wire. Also looking at the video I can clearly see the loer black wire was loose as most of the wire was outside the srew head.

ALSO use Robeson screw driver instead of phillips. The screws are easier to tighten and untighten.

Since it's a 20amp breaker. I D replace with 20 amp recepitical. HOT neutral on wrong side of plug.

Maybe this will help someone. Mine is model xtx650, 149cc Spark plug- Koehler # 14 132 11 Socket deep well 11/16 Plug gap 0.030 in. Oil capacity 20oz Oil type 30w warm climates, 10w-30 cool climates.

You're not supposed to tap the electrode, instead check the gap with a gap gauge. This model mower is 0.030 inch.

The outlet is the least of your worries. You have a Federal Pacific service panel and breakers, all of which have a questionable reputation.
